Richard S. "Rich" Carey, 37 Worcester - Richard S. "Rich" Carey, 37, of Worcester, died Thursday Sept. 12, 2013. He leaves his son, Teagan Carey, his daughter, Hazel Friend, his father, Richard S. Carey, five brothers, Daniel S. Carey, Brian W., William S., and Dennis C. Gallant and Donald M. Zordan, a sister, Linda M. Russo and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was born and raised in Worcester. His mother, Edith M. (Cronin) Carey died in 2002. Rich was a motorcycle mechanic for several years. The funeral will be held on Friday September 20, 2013 from DIRSA-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton St., with a Mass at 10:00 AM in St. John Church 40 Temple St. Burial will be in North Cemetery, Oxford. Calling hours will be held on Thursday September 19, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM in the funeral home.
